Edge Detection:
Gay Rights = Human Rights
Edge Detection refers to the way that neurons have developed the capability to identify border conditions in the external world, regardless of which sensory mode we use; it is the first critical step in making sense of our environment. Five sets of interviewees share their views on boundaries that affect their daily lives, occupations, creative aspirations, emotional and intellectual outlook, and sense of place in society.
This short excerpt features two human rights activists: Lin McDevitt-Pugh, co-founder of KnowHow Projects, and Martha McDevitt-Pugh, founder of Love Exiles Foundation; together they live as a married couple (in exile) in The Netherlands.
